R. Haeberle: And I noticed them bringing these people out. And they grabbed, I believe it was this girl behind this woman here, and brought her out front and they wanted to see what she was more or less made out of. They started you know stripping her, taking her top piece off and that. And the mother, if that was her mother, was trying to protect her. The GIs were punching her around I remember, kicking, one of them kicking her in the ass. And I took a photograph of this. Then I sort of turned away and all of a sudden I heard beside me two M16s, both on automatic fire, and I noticed out of the corner of my eye the bodies falling over. To me that, not seeing the sport this was just a little bit too much.
